DirtyToneukWhen playing Battlefield 4, have you ever complained about unloading a clip into an enemy without them dying, been inexplicably killed by your own grenade or seen an RPG do zero damage?
Some of those instances may be explained by a newly discovered bug in Battlefield 4, spotted by JackFrags.
When a teammate goes down, but is still revivable, it seems that their hitbox remains, at least, in some instances.
This makes it possible for a dead teammate to block RPG shells and grenades that are thrown at an enemy directly behind.
As JackFrags shows in the video below, the grenades may be shown exploding in the right area, but the actual damage that it does could be taken by the player that threw the grenade after it is bounced back by the invisible 'death shield'.
JackFrags speculated that the death shield could also cause bullets to do reduced damage to enemies, as if they were passing through another player, though this was not tested.
